Premier International Limited (PIL) was set up in 1986 by a Prominent Indonesian Businessman Mr Imman Taufik in Southeast Asia primarily to do trading, provide engineering services, do project management and invest in projects.

PIL in 1988 first time in Southeast Asia promoted a BOOT gas project in East Indonesia. The value of the contract was US$115 million. The project was to put four gas platforms and 60 km pipelines to supply the gas onshore. The client was KODECO and KODECO had entered into a contract of gas supply to Indonesian Government agency Perusahan Listrik Negara. (PLN).

PIL also invested in a pipe lay and construction barge Shillelagh I. The barge was having 850 tonnes revolving American Clyde crane, 8 welding stations, 245 men living quarters. PIL also invested in PAE (Thailand) Public Company Limited. PAE is in the field of fabrication and construction in Oil and gas sector.

PIL also invested in Enim Oil Limited, a concession holder in Oil. PIL has been active in Southeast Asian countries doing trading, project promotion, project management, inspection, logistics support, engineering services. PIL has supported oil and gas projects for Indonesian companies.

PIL through its Chinese office has been acting as logistics support provider, engineering support, project equipment inspection in Chinese companies, intermediate company to procure equipment and supplies for power, oil and gas and water industries. PIL works closely with Indonesian, Singapore and Indian companies.

In 2011 PIL supported a Company in South Asia arranging procurement of 3 Sea Water Desalination Plants. The services include evaluation of vendors, choosing appropriate technologies, support with engineering support for balance of plant, assembly of equipment to make it fully operational plants, logistics and supply of equipment. It was done in a record time to the fullest satisfaction of the client.

PIL is registered in Hong Kong and a very active Chinese operation. PIL Contracts includes procurement services for power and mining companies in Indonesia and projects in Middle East. It will bank on sourcing quality and cost effective procurement from Chinese Manufacturers.

PIL is actively involved in assistance to Secure Contracts in Middle East. PIL is also involved in specialist manpower recruitment, training, Contract Management. PIL is also active in Coordination in Contractual Intermediation negotiation and Dispute resolution.
